Arnaud Ente

The domaine was founded in Meursault in the early 1990s, when Arnaud Ente took over the management of his wife’s family’s plots. It is a recent domaine compared with the historic names of the Côte de Beaune, with an area of less than six hectares.

Its reputation was built quickly on an openly obsessive approach in the vineyard: yields among the lowest in the appellation, harvesting in several selective passes, and slow whole-bunch pressing. In the cellar, ageing is lengthy and new oak remains limited, with only a few thousand bottles per label.

Alongside the Meursault wines, the range includes a Bourgogne Aligoté from old vines, a Bourgogne Blanc, the Volnay premier cru, and the Bourgogne Pinot Noir. Provenance verified.
