Foursquare

The distillery operates in the parish of Saint Philip, Barbados, and is run by Richard Seale, the fourth generation of a family involved in rum since the 1920s. The facility combines pot stills and a double column still, and the blends draw on both distillations in varying proportions. Aging takes place entirely on site, in a tropical climate.

Foursquare has taken a firm public stance on transparency: no added sugar, no additives, no color correction, and the stated age refers to the youngest component of the blend.

The Exceptional Cask Selection series comprises limited releases, each with its own name and a specific combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, Madeira, and cognac casks. Traceable provenance.
