Antoine Robles

Antoine Robles is a winemaker from Mantry, in the Jura. The estate was established recently, registered in 2023, and states that its vineyards are farmed organically. The labels bear the name Clos des Vallières and are largely single-variety wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Ploussard and Trousseau, in Côtes du Jura AOC.

Poulsard, written Ploussard according to local usage, and Trousseau are the Jura's two native red varieties: the former produces pale, lightly tannic and aromatic wines, while the latter has more color and structure. These grapes are almost unknown outside the region, and in careful hands they produce reds of great transparency.

The STELT selection includes the two red wines from Clos des Vallières in the 2024 vintage, Ploussard and Trousseau, Côtes du Jura Rouge in 0.75-liter format. Provenance verified.
