Comte Liger-Belair

The domaine is based in Vosne-Romanée, and the Liger-Belair family has been connected to the village since the early 19th century. It is currently run by Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, who since 2000 has progressively brought back under direct management the parcels previously entrusted to third parties.

The property includes La Romanée, the smallest grand cru in France, at less than one hectare, managed as a monopole and located immediately above Romanée-Conti. Alongside it are the premier crus of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges and several village parcels.

The domaine follows biodynamic principles, with low yields, whole-cluster vinification, and new oak adjusted according to the cru. Quantities are minimal and distribution is by allocation. Controlled storage, verified provenance.
