Domaine Cecile Tremblay

The domaine, now based in Morey-Saint-Denis, was founded in 2003, when Cécile Tremblay took back part of her family's vineyards, which had been leased out for two generations. Cécile belongs to the Jayer family of Vosne-Romanée, the family of Henri Jayer; the estate remains small, with just a few hectares, all planted to Pinot Noir, spanning the village appellations of the Côte de Nuits and the grand crus Échezeaux, Chapelle-Chambertin and Clos de Vougeot.

The vineyards have been farmed organically from the outset, following biodynamic principles. In the cellar, whole clusters are used whenever the vintage allows, with indigenous yeasts, 15-18 months in barriques, and no fining or filtration.

The STELT selection features the Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge 2019, the domaine's entry-level cuvée, from vineyards in Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. Verified provenance.
