Domaine des Comtes Lafon

The estate is based in Meursault and managed by Dominique Lafon, who, since the 1980s, has brought the parcels previously leased out back under direct management. The property has been biodynamically farmed for over twenty years.

The holdings include a share of Montrachet, the premier cru vineyards of Meursault, including Perrières, Charmes, Genevrières, Poruzots, and Bouchères, as well as Volnay premier cru and Monthelie for the red wines. The whites are aged on their lees for a long time, with new oak used in moderate percentages.

The result is Meursault wines with structure and long aging potential, recognizable for their density and savory character rather than opulence. Controlled storage, traced origin.
