Domaine Fourrier

The Domaine is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and is run by Jean-Marie Fourrier, who has been at the helm since 1994 and also trained with Henri Jayer. The estate covers around ten hectares across Gevrey, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot, with vines mostly planted in the first half of the twentieth century.

The Vieille Vigne designation indicates that only grapes from vines more than thirty years old go into the cuvée. In the cellar, the approach is light-handed: destemming, sulfur added only at bottling, around twenty percent new oak, and no racking during aging.

The STELT selection includes the Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Echezeaux Vieilles Vignes 2021, from a village parcel bordering the Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru, and the Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru 2022. Provenance verified.
