Domaine Georges Noëllat
The domaine is based in Vosne-Romanée. For decades, the vineyards were leased to third parties, until in 2010 Maxime Cheurlin, Georges Noëllat’s great-grandson, took over direct management at just over twenty years of age.
The reputation was established very quickly. The holdings include the Échezeaux and Grands-Échezeaux grand crus, the premier crus of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, as well as Savigny-lès-Beaune and the Bourgogne wines. Vinification involves low yields, a variable proportion of whole clusters, and measured extraction.
Volumes are limited and distribution is by allocation. The bottles in this selection are stored under controlled temperature and humidity, with traceable provenance.
