Domaine Leflaive

The domaine is based in Puligny-Montrachet and is one of the historic benchmarks for Burgundy Chardonnay. Under the direction of Anne-Claude Leflaive, since the early 1990s, the entire estate has transitioned to biodynamic farming, with comparative trials conducted in the vineyard before full conversion.

The holdings include parcels in the grand crus Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard, Puligny's premier crus including Clavoillon, Pucelles and Combettes, and the village vineyards. The range has expanded into the Mâconnais with the vineyards of Verzé.

The style prioritizes tension and salinity over richness, with long élevage and restrained oak. Stored under controlled temperature and humidity, verified provenance.
