Egly-Ouriet

The house is based in Ambonnay, a Grand Cru village in the Montagne de Reims, and is run by Francis Egly, the fourth generation of the family. Production is built primarily around Pinot Noir, the dominant grape variety in the village.

Vineyard practices include low yields, harvesting at advanced ripeness, and old vines. In the cellar, fermentation in barrels, restrained dosage, and lees aging well beyond the minimum requirements are prioritized, including for the non-vintage cuvées.

The range includes Brut Grand Cru, Les Prémices, Rosé, and the single-vineyard cuvées Les Vignes de Vrigny made from Meunier and Les Vignes de Bisseuil. Stored under controlled temperature and humidity, with traceable provenance.
