Enmore

The Enmore distillery operated on the east coast of Demerara, in Guyana, until it closed in 1994. Production under that name ceased then, and the existing bottles come from the remaining casks, bottled over the following decades.

The still that defined its character is the greenheart-wood Coffey still, built in the 19th century and the only example of its kind still in existence. When the distillery closed, it was not decommissioned but dismantled and transferred to Diamond, where it remains in operation: it is the only case in which the still survived the distillery.

Rums distilled before the transfer are limited in quantity and cannot be reproduced. Controlled storage, verified provenance.
