Lamy-Caillat

Lamy-Caillat is a small domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet run by Sébastien Caillat and Florence Lamy, from the family behind Domaine Lamy-Pillot. It began in 2008 with one hectare of Premier Cru vines leased from elderly neighbors; today the range comprises seven white wines, all made from Chardonnay, totaling just over ten thousand bottles a year.

The élevage is long by Côte de Beaune standards: one year in barriques, followed by a second year in vats, with bottling without filtration after at least two years. In Chassagne, the domaine produces the village Pot Bois and the Premier Crus La Romanée, Champs Gains, La Grande Montagne, and Les Caillerets.

The STELT selection focuses on Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Caillerets, part of the range since the domaine's first vintages, in the 2014, 2017, and 2018 vintages. Provenance verified.
