Marchand-Tawse

Marchand-Tawse was founded in Nuits-Saint-Georges through the meeting of Canadian winemaker Pascal Marchand, active in Bourgogne since the 1980s with experience at Domaine des Comtes Lafon and Clos des Épeneaux, and entrepreneur Moray Tawse.

The business combines estate vineyards with the purchase of grapes from selected growers, offering a range covering an unusually high number of appellations: from the grand cru wines of the Côte de Nuits to the premier cru wines of Puligny-Montrachet, and entry-level Bourgogne wines.

The estate’s vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with winemaking that favors measured extraction and well-calibrated oak. Storage under controlled temperature and humidity, with traceable provenance.
