Markus Molitor

The winery is located in Bernkastel-Wehlen, on the Moselle, and has been run by Markus Molitor since 1984. The estate has expanded over time to include numerous historic sites between the Middle Moselle and the Saar, with a significant proportion of ungrafted vines on slate slopes.

The immediately recognizable feature is the capsule system, which indicates the residual sugar content regardless of the classification on the label: white capsule for dry, green for off-dry, gold for sweet. This is information that the German regulations alone do not provide.

The range includes Riesling Spätlese and Auslese from the Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and Schlossberg sites, Ürziger Würzgarten, and Pinot Noir. Controlled storage, traceable origin.
