Meo-Camuzet

Méo-Camuzet is based in Vosne-Romanée. The vineyards date back to Étienne Camuzet, the village mayor and a member of parliament for the Côte-d'Or in the early twentieth century, who entrusted them to sharecroppers, including Henri Jayer, who cultivated them for decades under his own label. The domaine adopted its current name in 1981; in the late 1980s Jean-Nicolas Méo took over its management, with Jayer as his mentor until retiring in 1988.

The parcels then gradually returned to direct management: the grand crus Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Corton and Échezeaux and the premier crus of Vosne-Romanée, including Au Cros Parantoux. Uncertified organic viticulture, with new oak dosed wine by wine.
