Ostia Tempore

Ostia Tempore originates in the Willamette Valley, Oregon, from the initiative of Bertrand de Villaine, co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, who in 2008 identified a terroir in the Eola-Amity Hills subregion, where he later planted Pinot Noir. The winemaking relies on collaboration with Lingua Franca, the winery founded by Master Sommelier Larry Stone with Dominique Lafon and winemaker Thomas Savre, with whom de Villaine has worked since 2016.

The style is Burgundian, with organically farmed vineyards and production of only a few thousand bottles a year: a label designed for the table, recently joined by the Académie line for collectors. Besides Pinot Noir, a Chardonnay is also produced.
