Roagna

The winery is based in Barbaresco and owns parcels in both Barbaresco and Barolo, including Pajè, Asili, Albesani, and Pira in Castiglione Falletto. The estate is run by Luca Roagna, the fifth generation of the family.

The approach is among the most traditional in Piemonte: no herbicides, very old vines, maceration on the skins that can exceed one hundred days, and long aging in large casks. The bottles are released years later than the minimum periods required by the regulations.

The result is Nebbiolo austere in its youth, with great longevity and a profile that develops slowly. The range also includes Langhe Rosso and Dolcetto d'Alba. Controlled storage, traceable provenance.
