Savart & Prevost

Savart & Prevost is the joint signature of two growers from the Petite Montagne de Reims: Frédéric Savart, who has independently run his family’s four hectares in Écueil since 2005, and Jérôme Prévost, who has produced La Closerie since 1998 from the two hectares of Les Béguines in Gueux, dominated by Meunier, having begun in Anselme Selosse’s cellars in Avize.

The two work along similar lines: partly wood-aged fermentations, low dosages, and attention to individual vineyards. The joint cuvée is part of Éphémère, the structure launched by Savart in 2014 for numbered cuvées that are never repeated, and is presented as a one-off collaboration.

The STELT selection includes the Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2019 in 0.75-liter format: pure Chardonnay from grand cru vineyards outside the communes of the two producers. Provenance verified.
