Tenuta Argentiera

The estate is located on the hills of Donoratico, in the southern part of the Bolgheri appellation. It was founded in 1999 by the Fratini family, in partnership with Antinori until 2009; since 2016, it has been owned by Austrian entrepreneur Stanislaus Turnauer. The name refers to silver mining in Etruscan times.

The vineyards cover eighty-five hectares, reaching approximately two hundred metres in altitude, a short distance from the coast, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino.

The STELT selection includes Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera, the flagship wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc and aged in barriques, tonneaux and large casks, and Villa Donoratico, a Bolgheri DOC Rosso made from the same blend with Petit Verdot. Verified provenance.
