Theo Dancer

Théo Dancer is the son of Vincent Dancer, whose Chassagne-Montrachet domaine is best known for the white wines of the Côte de Beaune. Théo took over its management from the 2020 vintage and launched Roc Breïa in parallel: a vineyard of approximately ten hectares in a single block at Bray, in the Mâconnais, purchased by two investors and entrusted to him from July 2021.

There are two wines: a Chardonnay from old vines and a Pinot Noir, from a vineyard previously farmed conventionally and now being converted to organic farming. The Chardonnay ferments and matures in used 350- to 500-litre casks and is released as Vin de France in approximately six thousand bottles.
