Domaine Sylvain Cathiard
The domaine is based in Vosne-Romanée, and management has passed to Sébastien Cathiard, who took over from his father Sylvain in 2011. The surface area remains around five hectares, distributed across very small plots.
The holdings include the Premier Cru Aux Malconsorts, bordering La Tâche, Aux Reignots below La Romanée, and the Premier Crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. The winemaking process involves destemming, cold maceration, limited extractions, and aging in barriques with new oak proportioned according to the cru.
The style prioritizes tannin finesse and fruit precision over concentration. The range also includes Bourgogne Rouge and Aligoté. Stored at controlled temperature and humidity, with traced origin.
