Burlotto Barolo 2014 DOCG 0,75l

The Burlotto Barolo 2014 DOCG 0,75l presents itself as the most mature and considered expression of a historic winery in the Langhe, capable of transforming a vintage into an elegant interpretation of the Verduno area and its surroundings, a window onto Barolo born in a setting of Langhe and Piedmont, where nebbiolo thus expresses refined verticality and emotional depth; Burlotto is an authentic Piedmontese winery, closely tied to its vineyards, slow work and respect for the seasons: a family of winemakers that has built a reputation over time based on precision in grape selection, careful barrel management and the ability to let the wine speak without forcing it; the production philosophy favors restrained intervention, with management that begins in the vineyards and reaches the cellar through balanced handling and patience: limited yields, gentle crushing, controlled fermentation and aging in non-new oak barrels, designed to extract elegance without excessive woody notes; compared with producers nearby in style, Burlotto distinguishes the Barolo 2014 through an aromatic profile unfolding with notes of ripe cherry, dried rose, thyme and a minerality that recalls its native soil; on the nose, nuances of truffle and subtle pepper intertwine, with a tannic texture that appears polished and ready to evolve over time; on the palate, the wine offers restrained yet well-defined body, a graceful interplay between sweetness and acidity that allows it to gain depth over the years, while maintaining a tension that carries each sip toward a long, clean and contemplative finish; within the Burlotto range, this Barolo 2014 stands as a benchmark of the most authentic tradition, capable of bringing the specificity of the cru and the vintage to the glass, offering the taster not merely a drink, but a story of vineyards that have preserved their identity for generations; in conclusion, the Burlotto Barolo 2014 DOCG 0,75l is a choice aligned with the STELT positioning: a proposition that elevates presence, the dignity of the terroir and longevity as criteria of value, offering a contemporary interpretation of a classic without renouncing the sincerity of those who work the land with respect and care.
